Additional Areas of Study

Music & Drama

The focus of these subjects is the development of the person with a particular emphasis on the development of self-confidence and self-esteem.

Class work includes developmentally appropriate work in the four main areas of listening, voice development, movement and instrument playing.

Art

Art is an integral part of classroom work. Children are presented with opportunities to individually develop art skills at both the Toddler and the Casa levels. Additionally, a comprehensive three-year curriculum has been developed for the Casa children, allowing for individual self-expression, skill acquisition, repetition at will and the establishment of a solid foundation which can be further built upon at the elementary levels.

French

Casa level students have an opportunity to participate in AIM language learning-based French sessions.

Physical Education

The program consists of work in the following areas:

  • Body awareness
  • Gross motor development
